Pakistan is not using the funds given by the World Bank etc. for the military - they are being used for economic purposes.

You are too sensitive, I am backing my aforementioned statement from a Pakistani news media.
"World Bank to approves $3 billion assistance"
Islamabad: Feb 20: The World Bank has pledged to approve a three-year $3 billion country assistance strategy for Pakistan on March 11 and release $300 million under the Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper in April.

Oqaab, do you think World Bank's loans or assistance are without any strings attached to Pakistan? If you think that way and Pakistan can avail its funds buying arms then beg World Bank and IMF for more funds, you are highly mistaken. These International Financial Institutions are there to make money and know how to safe guard their funds from countries they give loan.

You can not compare Pakistan's economic with the USA. The American GDP (per captia purchasing power) is almost $9 trillion and the defence budget is about $350 billion a year. :smokingc:

Yeah thats true. But even for a country like itself, the U.S. has a dangerously high amount of debt and budget deficit. :cop

All these aircaraft have one thing in common, the guy in back i.e the Weapon System Officer. I think Its about time PAF should have an air craft like these .
Do any one agree with me :?:

U mean, we should buy aircrafts which have tendem ? Well, PAF have been looking for such aircrafts in the past (MiG-29s and Su-30s) but Russian policy of not staying neutral in Indo-Pak affairs, canceled the deal. Also, most of the tendem seated aircrafts have two engines aswell and they nee a lot of maintainence.
