I thought Putin driving over the bridge two months ago was to signify that the bridge was back into full operation. Can't imagine that was just Russian propaganda.

Off course it is propaganda. This war is also propaganda war from both side. Still within those propaganda wars some actual really happen. Whether this bridge already fully open to operational level as Russian media claim, can be seen later on if the real logistical traffics using this bridge already back to normal or not.
Neither sides can cover up all the times, real conditions will come out sooner or later. Still Russian do put much effort to make this bridge fully operational again. Not only for logistics to Crimea, but also to put emphasis that Crimea is Integral part of Russia (which this bridge represent that view).
One year since the illegal, unprovoked full invasion. Ukrainian leader Zelensky delivers a strong, emotional message:
The Ukrainians are communicating their messages extremely well. Zelensky is already a historical leader, up there with Churchill and others. I wish him and the Ukrainian people all the best for the remainder of this year.
Hopefully Europe will step up even more, accelerating transfer of equipment and munitions. It's not just the morally right thing to do, it is also in the interest of Europe to end this war as soon as possible, and in a way that maintains the independence and integrity of Ukraine.

I'm not sure about the fire controls. Most of Polish T-72Ms and BMP-1s had more or less the original ones. The T-72M1R was fairly rare, that program didn't really take off. Anything is possible I guess, we will have to wait and see. I suspect you're right about the comms.

It appears Yagodnoe has now fallen. Russian forces are also pushing north-west into the village of Dubovo-Vasilevka. The road to Khromovo and Bogdanovka is now open, and the threat to Ukrainian supply lines is far greater. It's likely at this point that Russian pressure on the town itself is a fixing effort while Russian forces push on the rear lines. So far there has been no sign of Ukrainian forces withdrawing from the town though it's possible this was done quickly and quietly. We will find out if the city falls rapidly or if it ends up surrounded with a significant garrison.

Artemovsk/Bakhmut update.
Russian advances south of Berkhovka have threatened encirclement of the town, so Ukrainian forces blew the dam flooding parts of northern and eastern Artemovsk/Bakhmut. This will undoubtedly slow the Russian advance in the town but it doesn't necessarily prevent Russia from advancing on Bogdanovka and Khromovo. Alleged Ukrainian military sources on social media confirm operational encirclement of the town (this means every road in and out can be fired on). Additionally Dubovo-Vasilevka is claimed as taken by Russian forces. This village is a good staging area for advancing on Bogdanovka.

EDIT: There is unconfirmed information that Russia is assaulting Bogdanovka, after a feint towards Khromovo. After multiple failed attempts to threaten Chasov Yar from the south, through either Krasnoe/Ivanovskoe or Stupochki, the fall of Bogdanovka would threaten it from the north. Given that Russia's offensive in the north has developed fairly recently it's likely defenses from that direction are less well prepared. This would not only cut Ukrainian supply routes through Bogadnovka, but would also threaten the last clear road through Chasov Yar.

EDIT: There is unconfirmed information that Russia is assaulting Bogdanovka, after a feint towards Khromovo. After multiple failed attempts to threaten Chasov Yar from the south, through either Krasnoe/Ivanovskoe or Stupochki, the fall of Bogdanovka would threaten it from the north. Given that Russia's offensive in the north has developed fairly recently it's likely defenses from that direction are less well prepared. This would not only cut Ukrainian supply routes through Bogadnovka, but would also threaten the last clear road through Chasov Yar.

There are reports of Ukraine counterattacking north of Bakhmut in an attempt encircle a portion of the Russian advance in that area. They are driving from both north, and south. In each direction the advance appears to follow roads.

Those are the ones that have been under continuous delivery since last summer or so, the ones that have been much maligned in other tweets and telegram posts. 500 is the total planned delivery, the number is unchanged (it may have gone up by 5-10 since the original contract, not sure). As of this week 120 have been delivered.Germany is reportedly donating 500 military trucks to Ukraine, namely Iveco VM90s, ACL 90s, and Renault TRM.
