According USAF reports planned AGM-158A/B you think for Block 4 or 5 ?

Tests on the CVN finished i think for IOC early 2019 to check especialy if corrosion and ALIS problems get fixed
Remains also the delicate helmet for night landing seems even the new have problems !

The USMC have been experiment with different ways of leveraging their HIMARS. The latest is using TDL from a F-35B to the HIMARS resulting in destruction of the target. Earlier in the year the USMC loaded a HIMARS into a USAF MC-130 flew to an austere location, rolled out said HIMARS, fired off four rounds at two targets, reloaded HIMARS back into aircraft, flew out and RTB.

Yes correct, but from what I can understand that well deck loses a bit of hanger space and height as well bunkerage from the snippets of info available
 
On a related note, while we wait from South Korea to finish its work on whether or not to go down its own embarked F-35B route - there's been no news since they announced the review last year - this interesting quote came up recently..

"The US Pacific marine commander also observed that the ROKS Dokdo and the ROKS Marado, large amphibious attack vessels in the South Korean navy categorized as “landing platform helicopters,” (LPH) had been designed to carry the Marineon helicopters and suggested that US F-35B stealth fighters could also land on these ships during future training operations. If the ROK and US Marines continue to develop their ability to train and operate together, Craparotta said, there’s no reason why US Marine Corps F-35B fighters couldn’t land on those ships in the future."

PLAN brass will just love it when there's a US LHD, a Dokdo and an Izumo loaded with F-35Bs wherever they like in the Pacific. Yep, they'll love it.
 
More than likely their decks would need to be modified to sustain the high temps of the B models.
 
One of the arguments against the conversion of the Canberra class to carry the f35b was the addition of storage facilities for fuel effecting other capabilities ,is there information on how this would be done for these ships

Are you suggesting that the storage of F-35 fuel would enable other capabilities (effecting) or is this a typo and you had you meant it would impact other capabilities, possibly adversely (affecting)?

Fair enough , I understood that to enable the use of the F35B on the Canberra class required additional fuel storage for those aircraft and that this would impact the capabilities of its other roles ,this extent I have not seen documented
