Yeh I read about that meeting too, I doubt a cancellation is likely, but the likelihood is that tranche 3 will be split up further to lessen budget pressures. The idea was suggested by germany but I can't see any oppostion from Britain and Italy with their massive bidget issues.

No, it is a split buy-rather than the four countries order all of Tranche 3, they are only ordering some, with the rest to come later.

Nobody has yet given up any aircraft.

I don't know about the split. It isn't on the website yet.

Nobody has given up anything. Instead of ordering all 236 Tranche 3 at once, 107 will be ordered now, & negotiations will continue about ordering the rest.

If the 107 are in the same ratios as their shares of the full 236 (& I would be surprised if they aren't), the split would be -
Germany 31
Italy 21
Spain 15
UK 40

Liberty Wing (F-15C of USAF Lakenheath).

The crews of the 48th tfw have a lot of fighting for half Europe, and recently put special emphasis on the British Typhoon, so few surprises. So for three months in painstaking, thorough and secret meetings, the staff and various CLAEX prepared squads hunting. Hundreds of diagrams and charts of aircraft and armaments, flight schedules and some envelopes ibérico assortment of marching through the dark of zulos reunion.

In the end, many findings and the report that give birth for another three months will be particularly large. A boat soon:

- United States does need to Raptor.

- The Captor is one of the best teams in the world in its class (PESA). I would say the best by far, with quite a difference, but we already know that for months. However the EFA is to follow the light to AESA radar. And mergers, many mergers.

- The perfect combination cell aerodynamic / low weight / engine, in the long-range fighter put up a more in-your missiles (Supercruiser Mach 1.5, low gas consumption) to 50,000 feet, which amounts to When wood paste, and when to run away, do it safely, quickly and orderly. Dogfight fight with him is ...., finally, the F-15 Eagle is all PIPPER. However, the thrust vector itself, without haste, with other priorities, but without pausing.

Symmetrical loads are being tested for carrying bombs, along with the power to think litering III thrown 50 meters from/near the ground troops and protect the coalition troops.

T2 is sufficiently developed, the following is to create UVA and UCAS for the Eurofighter driving 5 or UVA UCAS.

Will the Trance 1 and 2 be upgraded to trance 3 standard?
Tranche 1, 2 & 3 aren't standards. They are production contracts. Different levels of equipment are defined by blocks, & the levels do not map neatly onto tranches. The last block of Tranche 1, for example, is much more like the first block of Tranche 2 than it is like the first block of Tranche 1.

But I want to know if in the end all (early) EF's will have full air to surface capablilities.
As they go through scheduled maintenance, all the Tranche 1 aircraft are being brought up to a common standard (was Block 5, but apparently the block designations have been dropped - I was a bit out of date), which includes LGBs as well as full air-air capability. There's another programme for Tranche 2 aircraft, & similar rolling programmes have been proposed for the future, but I don't know whether all aircraft will get all upgrades. May not be deemed cost-effective.

To date it is just planned that all T1 aircraft are brought to the block 5 standard and T2 aircraft will eventually brought up to the block 9 standard (the final standard of that tranche). ATM it's not know which blocks will be built under T3. I have no information that block designations has been droped, but they have been revised.
T1 comprises blocks 1, 2, 2B and 5.
T2 comprises blocks 8, 8B and 9.
