Antara shown specification of this P2 Tiger APC. As shown on previous post, this 4x4 APC shown similarities but bit bigger then Nexter Serval that it is base on. At this moment only one prototype being produce, but I do suspect it is going to produce more as TNI-AD back it up.

Incidently the producer SSE, use similar name with another APC that they have produce before and use by TNI-AU (AF) special force. However previous P2 Tiger was base to Kamaz Truck.

Compare to Army (TNI-AD) P2 Tiger, this TNI-AU P2 Tiger shown similarities on lay put but different appearance on front side. I suspect more to Kamaz Truck it us base on.

Curious why SSE use same name for Kamaz base with Texelis base one. Kamaz P2 is lighter though then Texelis base one, and it is shown why Texelis base has higher grade STANAG protection level

Bell website put article on recent upgrade to TNI-AD/Indonesia Army 412EP. The upgrade conducted in Bell local partner in Indonesia using kits send by Bell. The upgrade is for Cockpit upgrade to latest Bell Glass Cockpit standard.

Just like C130H in TNI-AU, the refurbishment also conducted to upgrade the avionics toward latest digital Glass Cockpit standard to improve pilots situational awareness and reduce workload.

One of Indonesian Enthusiasts X account call Defenart put pictures of couple Pandur 2 that recently procure through Czech Excalibur Army has been painted UN White. It is informed being prepared to TNI Contingent in Lebanon. Not clear whether those Pandur will augment or replace BTR-80A of Indonesian Contingent in Lebanon.

Add:

Seems it is 18 Pandur along 12 Anoa that will send to Lebanon to replace BTR-80A.

The Marines so far in media talked already got Budget allocation for 155mm Self Propeled Gun, as replacement program for M30 122mm. So more 105mm tow gun LG1, not being talk much.

So either it is additional gun, or the budget for M30 122mm replacement is not enough for 155mm SP Gun, and they decided to get more 105mm Tow Gun. The chattered on local forums in here not much talk on 105mm gun for Marines. The 105mm gun LG1 MkIII that's being talk before is for the Army, as M102 replacement.

I vaguely remember that the Army bought the South Korean KH178 105mm during the MEF/RENSTRA II era as the M102 replacements.

The project did not fully replace the tubes?

I just recheck the media and local forums on replacement plan for TNI-AD artilery. Seems the M101/102 105mm going to be maintain for time being, what's being plan to be replace are the M48 Yugo 76mm.

The TNI-AD want to standardise all guns to 105mm and 155mm, whether Tow or SP. Perhaps this is why when ex Belgium M109 already coming, the AMX-61 still being maintain.

As KH-178, they only bought 3 Battery for 3 Battalions, thus not enough to replace all M48 battery. From what I Heard there're still 4-7 battery M48 left, and those that need to be replace.

I heard TNI-AD doesn't really satisfied with performance of Korean Made artilery, whether KH-178 and KH-179. Which so far only being procure 3 and 1 battery respectively, and no follow on order after this. Thus this is where the talk of LG1 MkIII for TNI-AD being circulating.

So it could be still for Marines, but if this deal coming through, I suspect more to TNI-AD. It also could be for both, as there're needs to get rid of 122mm and 76mm to standardise both TNI-AD and Marines guns toward 105mm.

UGV from local private company that will be shown at next week IndoDefence. This seems being upload by someone from IndoDefence site. Personally I'm more interested on whose their partner is.

Their website has not put this product yet, so I suspect they just got the design from the 'Partner'.
