Im from the North Island, Auckland to be specific. We've actually had a few days without rain so thats something rare for Auckland. Im so jealous of all you guys across the ditch where the sun is never ending

From Syd, Australia always been into politics, history and military history. Finishing up uni. Been in the reserves for 4 years now as a M113 crewman.
Got some interesting topics, looking forward to start some of my own.

Gidday fella's, I too am from Sydney, I've been posting for a little while both here and some other forums. I work as Program Mgr for a large IT company. Love my cricket, rugby, mil history and geopolitics. Plus I love having a good discussion...perfect spot for it wouldn't you say!

Hi Everyone name is Bill and I am from Edmonton Alberta which is in the western part of Canada. Not in the millitary at all but studing millitary equipment both past and present has been a deep passion for me all my life, mostly aircraft and MBT's and I hope to learn more about current millitary affairs. I am happy I found Defence Talk, it has alot of useful info for a guy like me who is not an insider but wants to know about the millitary.
