That's not true. about 2/3 of China's flankers (not including J-11B) can do so with R-77.One more thing i read is that, until SU-30MKI become operational, RMAF MIG-29N were the only Russian made fighters that can simultaneously engage multiple targets.
If I got information correctly, MiG-31 can attacks 4 targets at the same time.No dice. I believe the first Russian fighter to have a multiple engagement capability was the Mig 31 which entered service in 1981.
nah..i doubt that is true..have u seen what the russian pilots can do with their sukhois with variants inferior to that of the MkM?try browsing through youtube and u might find them..maybe they were amazed by how fast our pilots learned to fly the flankers rather then what we did with them..just wanna state did any one ofyou realize during the LIMA exhibition, one of the russians pilot was shocked to see what the malaysian su-30 mkm pilot can do.
I read this in the local news straits times news paper on the end of the LIMA exhibition:
That South African company is a unit of SAAB avitronics of Sweden.Regarding the RWR, its from Sauth Africa IIRC. There must be a reason as to why the Gov choose an african solution compared to a european or even russian ones. What are its capability of intercepting an AESA radar?
Also whats the update on the second batch of Flankers? Is there any indication as of when this will be?
and official info did mention that the system is run under a british software.Regarding the RWR, its from Sauth Africa IIRC. There must be a reason as to why the Gov choose an african solution compared to a european or even russian ones. What are its capability of intercepting an AESA radar?

the extras?hmm, maybe the possibilities of another squadron? Most of the google earth pages are years old. Also, I doubt you'll be able to see the Suks on commercial satellite photos even if not. The reasons for this are logical. Eg, try spotting the migs...
The Suks are based at Gong Kedak.
There should be 6 delivered by now. Another 12 will be delivered in 2 batches next year.
The RMAF are training 72 officers as pilots and WSOs which means 36 crews.
