Update.
This is about a month woth of info, unfortunately it took me a while. While Russia's offensive has clearly begun and is making gains in mostly the areas we would expect, so far it's been slow. The goals are predictable, the main target is the rest of Donetsk region, where Russia has steadily pushed towards Slavyansk from the east, and has resumed offensive actions north and west of Pokrovsk. In Zaporozhye things have slowed down since last year, and I wouldn't be surprised if this area remains slow for the next several months, only to re-activate later in the year when Ukraine is already distracted elsewhere. Lastly Russian advances in the border areas continue, and something like a border buffer zone is starting to emerge. Note it's far too shallow to be substantial, and with increase in drone range, it probably can't accomplish it's officially stated purpose of protecting Russian border areas. On the other hand it does force Ukraine to pull resources to those areas or face problems. And I think this is the real purpose of the exercise.

Reportedly Russian strikes in and around Shostka have gotten so bad that Ukrainian authorities are urging locals to evacuate. As an illustration the second link has footage of a Russian strike on a gas station in Shostka, the third link a Shahed strike.

Russian forces are moving to secure everything north of the Volch'ya river. They've entered Efremovka/Okhrimovka, and they've taken Pokalyano, Zybino, and Bochkovo. From the east they've taken Zemlyanki and are attacking Budarki. You'll note that some of these villages are south of the river. In other words, Russia isn't necessarily relying on the river as a geographic barrier. This section of the front line is also close to merging with the section north-west of the Oskol river where Russian forces are now closer to each other, than they are to the Oskol (the distance from Topoli to Shevyakovka vs the distance from Shevyakovka to Zemlyanki). Lastly north-west of Kharkov Russian forces took the village of Veterinarnoe, opening a new area across the border.

Krasniy Liman.
Ukrainian forces have regained ground in Drobyshevo and now hold most of the village. They're also attempting counter-attacks eastward, but that hasn't prevented Russian gains in that area. In the woods south of Krasniy Liman Ukrainian infiltrators penetrated up to Dibrova again. Most of the forest south of Liman remains a grey area. Towards Yampol' Ukrainian counter-attacks gained ground in Ozerskoe, but then lost it again, and Russia has mopped up remaining Ukrainian forces in Yampol'.
