there arent facts that I cant post to proove that Najib is dead guilty But I know they are true whther u want to belive it or not. If I had facts, I'd be in Prison under the ISA.

Lets get back to the topic. Are there any pics of the RMAF SU 30 MKM with MIg 29 in formation or on ground?

Those are nice pics but the planes arent together. I wanted a pic with the two plane types together.
Also another observation, I remember the original RMAF Mig 29 cammo which was grey/green with the green barely visible, but it looks like they changed to full grey. Looks like they have come to thier senses on how ugly that looked.

The Indians are not sitting quiet with thier Bars radar, as they continually seek to improve it. What about the Bars on the MKM? Is there any development plan at all or is it done n dusted purchase?

i think i do have those..took plenty of pics at the RMAFs open day yesterday and during LIMA..the MiG was parked beside the MkM but im not sure if my pic caught both of them together..i do have seperate pics thou..which part of the plane would you like to see?

Amazing! theres a pic with Sukhoi, Mig, Hornet, Hawk all in a row!!! fantastic.. Now all we need is F 16, Typhoon and Rafale to make it complete! LOL..

OK jokes aside.. I see that the Hornet is carrying some kinda POD, what kinda targeting POD is that?

The Russian supersonic misile KH 31 has English writings on it. Is this normal or just for Export weapons?

The forumers in that forum said that there is NO R77 missile included in the MKM deal? WTF? Is that true? It would be wroong if the MAF does not get the R77 for the MKM, considering the MKM is a powerfull platform, or are they planning on getting the Ramjet R77 once its available?

RMAF never annouce any info about active seeker BVR missile. The Pod on the Hornet is the AN/AAS-38B NITE Hawk targeting FLIR pod, but some source claimed it is a AN/AAR-50 thermal navigation pod.

It is Nite Hawk.

Why bother about R-77 since there are equivalent of R-27 avalailable. Beside, R-77 is a very sensitive issue since it will spark race for AMRAAM users such as Singapore and Thailand.

both are different missiles, they are not equivalent in many aspect. R-27 is not the alternative for a R-77. Even you have an active seeker version of R-27, its still as sensative as the R-77.

i spoked to one of the WSOs of the MkM and he told me that we already had R-77s for the MiGs and it can easily be transfered for use on the MkM as well..and the deal for the 18 Su-30MkMs did include R-77 missiles..

and by the way,whats the difference between the Kh-41 and Kh-31?

Two different missile. Kh-31 is a anti-radiation missile. While Kh-41 is a primary ship launch anti ship missile, better known as Sunburn missile.
