yeah i know that mission very well,one of the hardest/the hardest mission!
TIP:
take the dragunov and go to direction of shilkas and shoot the guard infront of the fences,then go up to right hill,crawl to to the direction of shilkas(still on the hill not too far) and wait until a great number of the other guards are walking nearby the shilka in the middle of place and blow it up with the M136 and after ( if you have time take out 1-2 guards) run away back to the shore(not to the boat,will be blown up by Hokum!) and wait at least 5-15 min(best behind a great stone at shore and use the time speed 4x) ,cause two trucks with enemy reinforcement will arrive and search the area,then walk around the shore to direction where your boat was and CRAWL to direction of left hill,you will pass some trees,from there use Dragunow to finish the first patrol(should be half on the right hill) go to left hill and finish off the rest of the guards(before try to locate all guards and ass down!!!),blow up the shilka and BMP`s,but be carefull to not damage the UAZ with the machine gun!!!you will use it for the rest of the mission!
and use the save button as often as possible!!believe me it´s hard,but it´s fun!:D

nice.... I kept circling around the encampment, picking off the odd guard hiding, then hitting them again, until one of the last guys shot me in the legs, I saved before I realised I could'ent walk anymore and ended up crawling back to the damn boat!

Way to tough, not that I mind tough games, but this one just sucks all the fun out of playing. Claims its realistic, but just pits you against impossible odds.

The command and control is too clunky when your in a fire fight, try getting your squad to board a Brady under fire! half your men will be down before you get to the second drop down menu...
The AI is pretty good, enemys react quite well, not to smart not to dumb, and get confused if they cant figure out where the fire is coming from, your own troops have a tendency to be insanely brave tho, rather than doing the intelligent thing and pulling back.
Has some nice features, like when you get shot in the legs you have to crawl, ballistics are realistic, you never hear the bullet that kills you, ect. Would have been nice to have some more infantry weapons in the game too, the M4 is nice and easy to handle (to easy I think) and the AK74 kicks like a mule, there's no middle ground there.
Some more modern Russian weapons would have been nice too, it would bring the game into the 2000's, as it is its 1970's tech vs 2010 tech, and the kill ratios can be a little lobsided as a result.
Using the save button it is playable, but you need to use it a lot!

I've heard about that whole 70's Soviet Technology Vs. 2010 American Technology. As much as I hate to say it, they could have at least given the Russian side some modern weapons. It would make it much more interesting.

I have Empire Earth I an II and i prefer the 1st one, i kick my brothers ass at Empire Earth 1 online.

also have medal of honor: Frontline,Rising Sun and vanguard

i have conflict games: Vietnam and Dessert Storm

and lots more.

You still Play Empire earth I online? :O I use to play with one of the users here but haven't had chance to play since past couple of years!

MOD Deathmatch all the way! ;)

guys try out "act of war" its a great stratagy game. its based a couple of years into the future so you get all the DDX class destroyers and F35s and things. you can download the demo free from the internet.

hmm Lock On is not that realistic, but is sure funny!
If you want a simulation very close to a real F-16, try Falcon 4, it is really impressive!

i bought act of war direct action for £2 from amazon used and new section! and then bought the "high treason" expansion pack for £3.99! because of postage and things i had to pay a total of £11 for both, still better than paying £45 for both in the shops!

I got both of them for $80AUD (thats about 25-30 pounds) at the shops. great game, finished them both after a while though.

i dont play the campaign much, i have only done the first parts of it. i usually play online or do engagement. i think the US army are the best! B2 bombers and MRLS artilery! if you have an online acount tell me what its called and we could go online with it. im not sure how to find you on there, any ideas?

Havent played it online yet. The MLRS is devistating, and the abrams is so much better than the striker, although i like SOCOMs base defence more. i'll try to get online with it and i'll get back to you.

What is First world war???????????

i've never seen a WW1 game.

Alot of these are games which can only be bought or purchased in Russia.

First World War is a stand-alone game to Blitzkrieg but set in ww1. Entente is ww1 too but you can only get it in Europe.

First World War is available in Germany recently to purchase.

If you would like more information i'll be glad to provide it.

Unfortunately its harder to obtain the games. As far as I know many russian stores dont ship outside the CIS/Russia. Entente can be bought in europe and first world war is available on amazon.de I dont remember the exact name for it. #2 is not available outside of russia but #1 is and its available in North America under the name Cuban Missile Crisis the Aftermath. Very good games I recommend them I myself make models for the games.

Gulf-war's about iran-iraq war and Black gold is the same topic but with a few new unit's such as the M1A1 abrams and night combat , fuel tankers etc...

First world war is a blitzkrieg standalone game set in ww1.

Im sorry i dont have much time at the moment but when i come back ill go into more depth and provide screenshots etc...

Good luck obtaining those games.
