Honestly, these type of boats should be more of a Bakamla asset, not a Navy asset.

As long as Maritime Constabulary jurisdiction is not being politically clear and supported as implementations, patrol vessels will still build up by various agencies.

Maritime Constabularies now being literally fought on between Bakamla, Navy, Fisheries, Transport, Customs and Police. Enough Patrol vessels between them already, but each try hold on on their own turf. This matter already problematic for decades, but maritime slice of cakes is tempting.

Different from existing 15 AAV7 ex ROK Marines on armour and weapon station. Well better this then BTR-50.

So these are actually AAVP7A1s/LVTP7A1s, with those Up-Gunned Weapon Station (UGWS) for the Personnel variant, as well as appliqué armor kits and bow planes.

It's another multi agency mess that leads to inefficiency and miscoordination, Bakamla should be the main body and take on the job of Fisheries, Transport, Customs.

This is what the main cause of all this conflicting maritime constabularies claim. The regulations its self are not clear cut on whose handle who, and each jurisdiction.

Basically what Supreme Court say to parliement:

1. Rebuild the regulation on Bakamla,
2. Make it clear who has the jurisdiction on maritime cobstabularies function.

Means all conflicting regulations has to sort out, not just making one regulations. This come from legal challenge coming from some civil servants union from Ministry of Transport. Like I said before the 'cake' for maritime jurusdiction is just to delicious for those bureaucrats, that they will fought for it.

The legistaltion for Bakamla as Coast Guard has to make sure all other conflicting regulations and legistations on other agencies has to be taken out and merge to new Coast Guard functions.

In paper there'are enough patrol boats from all agencies now to make good base for credible white hull institution. Will just see how this going to resolve.

Navy to acquire 105 AAV7 from the US by 2028

The schedulle it will come 35 each year up to 2028. This mean it is still in line with the offer from USMC few years ago (when Andika head of TNI). With this number, it can replace most of BTR-50.

So, can we say that any additional procurement of new BT-3F isnt happening..?

I still say depends if there're brokerage that can arrange acceptable financing line with MoF/Bapenas (Finance Guys). Personally I still see the problem with direct Russian procurement is getting appropriate financing scheme.

However with this kind of deal with surplus AAV7 through EDA, I think the budget allocation for Marines armoured will be absorb by those AAV7 for this period.

So it seems all IFV/APC/heavy equipment of Korps Marinir have received the new "musim kemarau paint job". How effective will this camouflage be during rainseason? In my opinion it looks a little bit amateuristic.

According to some sources only 10 ex-USMC AAVP7A1 are recently received, but some sources tell there are 12 delivered. Confusing.

Dengan tambahan tersebut, jumlah AAV M-35 yang diterima TNI AL akan bertambah menjadi 35 unit. Sebanyak 23 unit dari pengadaan gelombang pertama akan tiba di Indonesia pada akhir November 2026.

Well TNI-AL Chief specifically tell 35 will come each year and for this year the rest 23 will come in November. Thus it is 12 unit that come as first installment. Rumours talk the version in FMS EDA agreement are AAV7-A1 RAM/RS. If this true then it is the last generation of AAV7.

Signing on agreement between PAL and Fincantieri for KRI Sriwijaya modernisation project. Whether Fincantieri local partner will involve remain to be seen.
