So they are going to much smaller ceremony and no fleet sail pass in Jakarta Bay for TNI day.
So, the official explanation is that many soldiers are involved with humanitarian missions/handling natural disasters of this moment, with other words from the more than 300.000 TNI-personnel, almost all are because of this not available to join the 5 Oktober ceremony. Why don't they just admit that this is because of the lack of required funds? To be honest is not wrong, and such explanation is acceptable and not embarrassing at all. From which i remember they did this before one time in the '80s, if i'm not wrong they spent a lot of funds to acquire the MM38 Exocet, so they were forced to keep 5 Oktober extremely simple, with only having 3 or 4 officers marching in the parade. Please correct me if i am wrong.
Why do they give the number 100, and not beginning with 101? In the past they always start with the more logic 01.
In the end the whole operation of forcing the early transfer of the KRI Guiseppe Garibaldi and the rushing to arrive before 5 Oktober was all for nothing :-D
