Welcome to the boards guys.

Heyjoe, thanks for coming back. A few of the "younger" posters might be a bit tiresome at times, but I hope you'll stick around a bit. The quality of the board is directly related to the knowledge and experience various posters are willing or able to share...

Crystal, become familiar with stating, "yes Corporal", listening and understanding, rather than talking and always remember you are there to learn. Not question and your instructions have probably answered every query you have a thousand times before.

Try and understand that at times they may get frustrated with things, as they teach it repeatedly, it's not personal, but is borne from the pressures from above to produce high quality soldiers.

Take in as much as you can, but remember courses are generally designed to pass people, not fail them...

I wasn't quite into forums when I first registered as I was on a data mining foray on the Internet. I have since participated as a Mod/Admin on other sites and started looking harder at forums to assess and learn the admin side of the equation and stopped to post on selective forums when I see richness of dialogue as I have here especially in the Aussie F/A-18E/F thread. I also like the policy of no "which is better" or "X vs Y" threads. Those type threads get invariably end up inciting emotional rock throwing it seems. I'll be back!

PS As to "younger" posters...wish I had something like this when I was their age and only got to meet folks with answers on rare occasions. I was fortunate to realize my dream to fly fighters and view answering such questions as part of the responsibility and obligation to assist others when I can as I was helped when much younger and full of similar questions.

Hi

Hi, i'm spartan, an 31 years old man from the far Argentine, at south of the south America, yes, there're people here...at first, i'm sorry by my english, it is terrible. Well i'm historian and i'm interesting in defence themes. I've got very much material about the falklands war, the WWII and about the navies, too. I was officer aspirant at the marine corps of my country (Infanteria de Marina) and i have too many stories to tell. I wonder to find several comrades here and, why not? some friends too. thanks, see you later, SPARTAN2482
