As to the acoustic sensor. You are aware of the fact that the round is travelling with round about mach 5?
Be sure that I don't want to claim that tanks and IFVs are the ultimate helicopter killers.
But they can give you some headache, especially in a very complex theater of operations or when the pilots are not that aware of the capabilities of a tank.

Could too easily end up in a massacre for the mech forces.
It was really impressing everytime I saw them coming in nearly at ground level, hovering up, firing some missiles and fading away.
Makes you think about your own vulnerability in this big steel beast.

With all the new top attack munitions that are out there or that are being tested, if they get a shot off and and if they hit you, we are toast. That goes for any modern day tank that is out there.Jup.

Trophy looks nice. The system from Diehl is already in the pipe and as always you guys want to build the golden system which will have incredible capabilities, is going to be worth another tank in $ and will be ready in 6 years.

The Russian Government has no problems. Israel has problems when they find Russian equipment in Hesbullah hands, and made a protest.
There is no requirement to be Jewish to work in Israeli defence industry!

Thanks for the information, I did not realize this. How is Israel handling the issue in regards to Russia recently selling the Iranians surface to air missles.

Literally this week Israel has created a special agency to direct any activities in regards to Iran.
Things are really going to get intersting in regards to Iran, what ever happens I hope it doesn`t turn into a disaster.
My money is on IDF doing a little bombing run...

I think IDF will do whatever it feels it has to do.
The IDF flew over "hostile" Saudi airspace to get to strike at Saddam's Osirak reactor.

I honestly don't think they would meet much resistance if they just happened to stray over said airspace again if it meant taking out Iran's nuclear infrastructure.

Could the messages not be moved to a more relavant thread? I'm sorry but I don't see anything politically-motivated here to warrant such a response. What is being discussed here is a security issue of relevance. It is all referenced fact and well within the boundries of this website's fair rules and spirit in my honest opinion.
