officer? anyway, I see where you're coming from on that, thought it surprises me that you single out [ Deleted by Admin ] every military specialty has valuable information of some sort to divulge - if the person wishes to do so.

One of the things we require of people making claims about professional status is that they provide proof of service.
As you've said that your org allows individual discretion and you have elected to make a public statement, then in intel terms you've made an uncontrolled claim - so feel free to support it.
We allow people 5 working days to submit professional proof of life. You can get back to any one of the Mods with details. We deal with such validations on a regular basis so discretion is assured.

I'm a Defense/MIL enthusiast who hails from a MIL family with deep roots in the Service. I'm currently attending college in my pursuit of a Defense oriented career, and although I still hope to serve in uniform, it is an uphill battle for many reasons. Therefore, I have as many back-up plans as possible in order to still serve this country of mine.
Also, I am deeply interested in aerospace, and MIL space applications.
I look forward to learning and dicussing on this forum as much as possible, and I appreciate the opportunity to join! Thanks.

Greetings, My Name is Stephen, Military wise, I served in the U.S. Navy from 1981 to 1986. ELINT Analyst at the time. Rode submarines while stationed in Naples Italy, Analyzed Reconnaissance Missions while in Rota Spain. Been a long time since then. I joined this for the discussion and seeking help from time to time on my collection. I am a space patch collector, Civilian and Private company patches from around the world that relate to space, such as the shuttle missions, ISS expeditions, payloads that go with them etc. Also collecting the space launch patches for satellites and such. I do have a very large trade list of USAF space related patches for trade as well. And I do have some NASA type as well, though I am still working on that list.
I live in Hickory NC currently, but besides being overseas with the Navy I have lived in California, Colorado, New York, Florida so I like the journies of life too.
Please feel free to contact if you wish to trade and talk patches too!
