Hi!

My name is Chris, I'm 24 and from Germany and studying mechanical engineeing. I served the 9-month military service in the German Army at a mountain ranger bataillon.

I am very interested in defence technology, especially in modern submarines, past and modern tanks as well as old piston-engine aircrafts and the beginning of past and modern jet engines and rocket technology.

Apart from this I am biking, swimming, hiking and I am very interested in Computer technology.

Greets!

Hello everybody, just stummbled upon your site while looking through news articles on Zimbabwe. I live in South Africa and the situation on our northern border is a concern. I am not a military buff although I served in the military in the late eighties, I am more interested in current events, which just happen to be military in nature.

Hey peoples,

My name's Ben, I'm 21 and about to join the RAAF in Public Affairs as a Specialist Reservist.

I'll be based at Williams in Melbourne, but live in Torquay. I'm also studying Public Relations at Deakin.

I doubt I'll be posting that much, I've mainly joined just to improve my military knowledge.

Peace,
Ben:)

Hello all!

My name is Sergey, and I'm a 29-year-old medical scientist who is a consultant of a Russian pharma company at present -- and who hopes to return to his field of study as soon as possible. I live in Moscow, and I've joined the forum in order to learn more about all things military. I have to admit that I'll be mostly asking questions, instead of answering them.:)

Hello from Korea

Annyong haseyo. :D

Hello to everyone. My name is DJ. I served in the Army for almost 8 years and have just recently left. I am a computer guy here in Korea, but on the times that I am bored I often visit military-related sites. I guess the infantryman in me never left.

I hope to be a contributor here.

Well anyway hope i can bring some good to the discussions here and we can all enjoy it.
