Hi

HELLO,My fellow defence analysts.My name is Stuart,i am from the UK and have 22 years of military/logistics experience working for the private sector alongside the military on various naval development projects.
I will always offer frank posts not ones of national prejudice that we can sometimes have the tendency to submit.
having an opinion is one of the most precious gifts of humanity,i will keep my opinions fact based and straight to the point.

I'm half Cajun, half Swedish (explains the nick) and planning on joining the US Army as an officer or failing that, enlisting in the Marines to serve my country even if only for one or two years.

G'day guys, new here. Already learnt a lot just from reading all 35 pages of the RAN AWD thread! Going to learn a lot more here. Principal interests are naval ops (trying to learn more about Cold War ops so happy for any steers to good resources) and WWII aviation but am a sucker for any military wings.

I'm 26 years old and I live in Texas, USA. I was in the Coast Guard for 4 years where I did maritime security boardings on large vessels and security on high-value infrastructure. I now am a civilian commercial pilot. I came to this site hoping to find people that have a little deeper insight into current and future world conflicts.

Even though most don't see it, there is less conflict in the world right now than any time in history but I don't think it's going to last. I think there are dark clouds on the horizon. I am a Christian, and have no problem with peoples of other faiths as long as they have no problem with me. I hope to gain a larger picture of global military strategy and tactics through this site.

I have been awoiding this sbuject for way to long, so I better get to it.

I am a 39 year old dane with a great interest in defence issues. Almost grown up in the danish navy, as my farther was a navalofficer and my mother to was employed in the navy, both retired.

Member of the Danish Airforce HomeGuard and is a parttime Airforce Security Guard. As my main occupation I work as a pensionofficer in a major Scandinavian Bank.
