What should be PAF strategy if India Attacks?

Gripen pretty much is quite effective as it is a point defense fighter jet! And since Pakistan has no 'hegemonal' designs and only has to 'protect' its own airspace, it would be a good addition to the PAF. Anywayz, remains to be seen what jet PAF acquires and that would significantly effect its strategy of how to deal with a possible Indian attack. Strategies are always designed after looking at what you have and how effective it is and what scenarios can be drawn out in light of the strategy being planned.

Well Well,I just happened to go by this forum,i know i'm about 2 yrs too late,but my god this was one single sided thread..where were all the Indians..i just have to add my 2 cents....Guyz first why did people in this thread assume that india would charge like a raging bull,instead of a pride of lions executing a surgial hunting strike..come on give them some credit...the first thing That India would do is to open safe flying corridors by taking out the pakistani AD(air defence) Network(with anti radiation missiles) Any stratergies to thawrt this plan????,The only Modern aircraft that pakistan had 3 yrs ago was the f-16 A/b..no match for Mig-29,Mirage and Su-30,The mig -27 and jaguars mig-23 all much better than the rest of the paf a/c's..Plus consider teh numbers..People in this thread were assuming IMO that all PAF pilots are flying aces and all Indian pilots are chumps..come on how realistic is that???So with the AD network disabled,plus supirior numbers and tech,air superiorty is eminent for the Indians. 2nd point raised was nuclear war, first of all India would never cross that threshold, 2 reasons first it has wayyyyy to much to lose in terms of economic setback than pakistan,2nd India would not want to destroy pakistan but to disable it, to set it back econimically so its not a threat to india,and of course to use this thrashing at the negotiating table. Second if pakistan does use its nuclear option..well people said it earlier...india can survive a nuclear attck,with its huge population and landmass,but India would wipe pakistan off the world map,and because it wasnt the first user guess who gets world approval.
So to summarize, i hope there is no war,and if there is it would be by all means kept under the nuclear threshold!!! Any comments on this???

only comment i have on the nuke side of the debate would be that the rest of the world would isolate India and the survivors in what was pakistan. an already 3rd world country would be held accountable for those actions,and have to be judged by the rest of the world.4th world country soon to exsist. boyh India and pakistan would ultimatley be losers, the rest of the world would be left to clean up the mess left.
