According to some Turkish reporters X account, 3 dies and 14 wounded in the attack. The attacker came toward the gate of Tusas facility.

Turkish media and forums already put the attacker as part of Kurdistan Party. I suspect Turkiye will use this attack to begin campaign into Kurdistan area in Syria again.

Latest info on casualties are 5 Dead and 22 injuries. Sultan Erdo put defense industry (MIC) development as big part of his administration achievement. Thus it is not difficult to see why they are now part of target.

They should guard their big MIC better. TUSAS is one of their MIC crown jewel.

I wonder what they want to achieve with this. The only result is that Turkey will protect it's strategic companies much better (what they actually should have done before). Actually we also have to protect companies like PAL, PINDAD, IPTN, Pertamina installations and PLN powerplants better. You never know.

This video from Prof Sachs how Sultan Erdo development and investment on their own MIC has taken back other NATO members. This as Sultan Erdo MIC development surpass other NATO members expectations. This give Turkiye the independence on policies that can be in conflict of interest from other NATO members (especially in Richer Western Part).

Still in my opinion, this is not first time US Nato lead find this challange. When Charles de Gaule rebuild French MIC, it is also looking for independence in policies and sometimes conflict with US lead Nato on the 50's and 60's era.

In the end this is what Sultan Erdo want to achieve. More independent foreign policies action and policies, that not just following other NATO EU members or US wants.

Sachs is great at doing disinformation, but yes the Turkish MIC has been developed fairly well over the years and is now offering a lot of spare capacity which is a commodity in shortage in Europe, thereby forcing European to buy at least some Turkish.

Losing one's MIC is always a trade in which one accepts giving someone else that type of influence.

I am by no means close to israeli positions or american ones, as you can see by reading basically any of my posts, and I am often described by colleagues as "very empathetic towards arab and asian positions".

I think turkish MIC did an impressive job in the last years, they were able to develop some world-class skills in some key areas (drones, small/light rockets and missiles, cheap recon and so on..) and I don't dislike the fact that europeans are buying and working with the turks.

That being said, Sachs is a disgrace.
Every time I hear him talking, I am more convinced that he is just reading a script.
When he talks about Europe most of the time he's got no idea what he is talking about.
He manipulates facts, changing them to match his idea.

I think we can agree that the turks are doing quite well and they have huge capacity and also agree on the fact that Sachs should be employed in the waste and trash sector.
And I say that as a westener that doesn't really like how the west is doing...

Sachs is still have enough followers on his thinking, especially on non Western Economies. Many in West can think him as trash this days, but many on non west still regard his view make sense. So it is alright to disagree with him, but it is also alright to agree with him.

However for certain condescending ppl talking as those who still see his view make sense as logical failure, well just shown his logics are no more base on delusional thinking of grandeur. Especially when he also only put questionable certain nation opinion on other thread as factual logics.

Logic is objective and unaffected by emotion.

If you believe there are credibility issues, please provide a cogent argument of why he isn't credible and vice versa. Merely stating that there are people thinking he's credible, or not credible, doesn't constitute an argument in support or again.
