Hello Everyone,
I've been checking out the site for the past few days and I must say, its incredibly entertaining. I'm a Canadian who has had a great interest in Military Strategy for most of my life. I am currently looking to undertake an MA in Military and Strategic Studies here in Canada, so I look forward to learning from you all in preparation for the possibility that I am accepted. My goal is to eventually become a defence analyst. As such, I was wondering if any of you had any tips to offer me in pursuit of this goal?

im sorta in the same boat as you, i have my assessment day in december...
the guys on here wont be much help with the enlistment side of the military ( as most of them who have enlisted did some time ago)

I am an Australian Gen Xer working in the defence industry in a technical field and have limited military experience from several years in the ARES, 3+ years Infantry, 3+ years Armour and several inactive before discharging altogether
I have an interest (amateur) in history in general but specifically military history and the development history of military equipment, procurement and the politics driving this. I also enjoy what ifs revolving around different equipment and force structure decisions and their flow on through time.
Great site, good topics, look forward to joining in for years to come.

Hi guys my name is Damian Celius and my current location is South Africa, i am 26 years old and i have been in multiple military's since the age of 15. Over the last 2 months i have become a civilian by choice but find it had to relate to them most of the time, so i am here to hopefully make new friends and make this forum my 2nd home.
