Yeah. And I've also heard about Su-32 MkI'z....when did these come to life? And what's the difference between Su-30s and Su-32s?

Su-30 export version codes are as follows;Panzer said:
Su-30 MKK stands for China
Su-30 MKI stands for India
Su-30 MKM stands for Malaysia
If Pakistan buys Su-30, it will be known as Su-30 MKP.

Oh come on! Being a pakistani, I dont value Russian stuff much but man! Su-30s a pretty good! and Su-32s mite be having more advanced stuff... if anyone knows abt Su-32s please lemme know

well 4 starters u might wanna know tht the Su-32 is a land-based maritime strike fighter shile it other version the Su-34 is 4 strike on land based trgets 2.

Seems to me u guyz r interested in Russian Military Sites. U might wanna chk out this site which has loads of links n gives access to a lot of information.

Hey, I was reading some time back in may be bharat-rakshak.com that the SU-30 MKI can also function as a mini-AWAc platform. Is this true?
Also, there were other features that it said something that it can switch off its radar and scan the area in passive mode meaning with only its infra-red scanner functioning. I dont think I am acqurate in this but has anyone heard of this. And if I am acqurate, how does this help in combat. Does it make the aircraft in-visible.....I don;t think so.
I also heard that India is reviving its AWAC program but now is going to use the Brazilian Embrarer jet instead.
Also, gf0012 I want to unlock the thread of anti-aircraft & missile for india in order to post some more information.

There is a device in the SU-27/3x and MIG-29s that was called IRST (Infra Red Search and Track), U might notice a glass ball in front of the canopy of SUs and Migs. They have wide angle passive IR sensors and a laser range finder.It is no match for the radar since it's range is limited and it can be easily fool by natural occurance (sun glint, cloud edge, etc). I don't know about the invisible part but if u can catch the enemy on the tail and they have no EW platform in range and the pilot didn't bother to look back, then maybe u can give him some surprise.viveksac said:
