Japan Defence Minister receive Indonesian MinDef delegation. This is talk to further discuss on transfer and export of ex JMSDF assets that being discussed in Jakarta, between Koizumi and his Counterpart Syafrie S.

The Indonesian delegation also involve PAL CEO. Seems the deal going to involve PAL in the production cycle. Could it be PAL will involve with system integration on Asagiri's ? As most likely it will be transfered with most of it's armament being strip out first.

Lundin already got some orders mostly in RHIB and catamaran fast boats. Their Attack Boat concept basically dual manned and unmanned, and still need to compete with Palindo and PAL concept.

Indonesia announces the former Italian Navy aircraft carrier Garibaldi will arrive Sept 20, detailing homeport plans in Lampung and refurbishment costs.

20th of September being scheduled for ex Garibaldi being arrived in Indonesia. Joint Crew being set as 100 TNI-AL crews will be supplement with similar number of Marina Military crews. All for 5th October sailing pass ceremony.

The light carrier will be base both in Lampung and Surabaya. Not clear yet on where the $450 million upgrade will be conducted.

A to be expected choise will be one of the three bases of the three Komando Armada (Fleet Commands). Maybe these bases do not have enough space, or the base in Lampung has not only enough space, but has also a deeper harbour.

My concerm more that it is located on bay, and Facing Anak Krakatau island volcano. It is only less then ten years ago (2018) the hick-up from that volcano create Tsunami. Clearly location of deep water and direct access to Indies ocean and Sunda Strait (one of strategic sea line), is matter on the choice.

Still the volcano is still active and Sunda Strait is active tectonic plate. Hopefully the Lampung Naval Base (Lampung Lanal) and TNI-AL, already learn the lesson from Poso Naval Base that significantly damage due to earth quake tsunami.

Begining to circulate online, the TNI-AL crew already arrived and begin training with Garibaldi. The carrier going to be crew by mix TNI-AL and Marina Militare to get her to indonesia.

Frenchie salesman is ecstatic that more Euro Defense Assets is potentially become storng contender in acquisition. He is happy as it is not coming from Turkiye, as he has only one mind set, anything as long not coming from Turkiye.

I ussualy not wanting to put more on his video as it is become tiresome with his ranting against Turkiye. Still put it as he is already in euro sales lobby circle, thus have some info from lobbyist/brokerage circle. This time talk with Italy to get one other PPA and one U212NFS being build currently for Marina Militare.

If this is true, then:

• It is only half what rumoured Fincantieri offer of second batch of 2 PPA and 2 U212NFS,
• Fincantieri offer to buid PPA in Indonesia is not being taken. Potentially due to price and timing,

Perhaps the talk of Fincantieri offering to build Corvettes and not PPA/Frigate will more likely to happen.
