For HUNTING? Sorry mate, but that seems RIDICULOUS to me. Would not a .308 Winchester or a .338 lapua be a better weapon? It'd DEFINITELY be a lighter one...
I use my bow for shots below 150 yards and my Barret for shots over. It gives me the capability to take out targets at well over a kilometer. I have a stand on the edge of a wide open cotton field that have ranges that great. It is also necessary when we go big game hunting. It is the M99 model and weighs in at 25 pounds. It's not really a big deal because I'm in a stand most of the time. When we go bear hunting it is noticeable but worth it for the firepower.

Have you got a photo you could put up in the gallery. Even if you're face was blacked out? I'd love to see the "Tackleberry" look... :eek:nfloorl:

A Barrett is a worthy weapon depending what you want to hunt. Now white tail deer is normally out of the question, but if you want to test your skills at extreme range a Barrett is great. Most hunters in the U.S. use them to hunt elk, moose, and bear at long range.

Side note; deer a the biggest pest in the world. In Indiana we have the most deer we ever had on record, and the states been recording since the 1840's. You could hunt deer with you car if you wanted too. Their also fairly dangerous because their around people so much, their not afraid of anyone anymore, i.e. the story Future Tank told.

Sorry if it has already been mentioned, but the F-4 Phantom II is a cold war classic that set the benchmark for the fighters of today, surely?

The F-4 II is a good choice because of its all around performance as a fighter and bomber. Though it did have its flaws including the lack of a gun early in its career.

Though basic helicopters were around before World War II, Korea and Vietnam is where we saw what they really could do in combat. While helicopters were revoluntionary, a specific helicopters are whats need in this thread. Thats why choppers like the UH-1, and AH-1 are important combat systems.
