Really?! I never knew that. But still flying against a mostly obsolete air force that had been choked with the arms embargo and bad training.

For the amount of ADA that was thrown at them during their flights into Iraq they did a outstanding job that was on par with the British and the U.S.

I hear that a lot on forums. People who say they worked with the Saudis said the RSAF pilots broke all the misconceptions they had about Arab pilots. I wonder why they're so good? Could be the level of education and the money and time spent on the RSAF and it's pilots. I wonder how Egyptian and Jordanian pilots would compare.
