Unpopular (?) opinion: Ukraine strikes any and all Russian trucks without any differentiation and claims them to be something else, while in reality absolute majority of these are purely civilian logistics. It follows that there is little to no effect at the frontline now or will be in the future.

In February, it was a “large number of people are considered officially missing”. Yesterday, It was a “huge number of people who have disappeared”. I guess that is somewhat consistent.

According to yesterday’s number provided by Zelensky, Russia, so far, returned more than half of all perished UA soldiers. Up to two weeks ago, Russia has returned 25,306 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers since 2022.


ChatGPT, after a minute of thinking, tells me that Ukraine returned 470 Russian perished troops in the same period (it might be wrong, but I have no interest in looking further).

The video looks like a fuel truck got hit, leaking fires from the back of the truck. Black smoke indicates a non-ideal combustion, probably due to a high fuel: air mixture (soot generation). Why do you think this isnt a fuel truck ?

I'll try to do another update soon, the situation in north-eastern Kharkov region is deteriorating fast. It appears the entire front line from the Chugunovka area all the way to the Severskiy Donets river is crumbling. Russian forces are in Beliy Kolodets, Zemlyanoy Yar, and have penetrated to the Plotva river. Russia's grey zone infiltrations around the Ivanovka-Zakharovka area are aiming to merge with Russian forces pushing out of Ustinovka. The situation is a real crisis for Ukraine, and it's a bit of a catch-22. If Ukraine doesn't react, the situation will continue to deteriorate, and Ukraine may lose even more ground, with Russian forces pushing southward towards Velikiy Burluk, eventually threatening Ukrainian positions north-west of Kupyansk. On the other hand this area contains nothing particularly important, and rushing forces here could compromise the situation in other areas. It remains to be seen how Ukraine handles this, and this area might just be de-prioritized compared to the Donbas where things aren't going well either, be it around Konstantinovka-Druzhkovka, east of Slavyansk, or in the Dobropol'ye area.
