Three types of TNI-AU fighters, being prepared for Independence day. It is also quite obvious so far on the absence of Flankers on several TNI activities and training this year.

Further agreement and workshare in Indonesia on KAAN project. Republik Aero (RAD) will build MRO and training facility, while DI will conduct final assembly from some of the KAAN airframe.

The last one for again raise question on DI and KAI agreement to do final assembly job in DI facility for IF-21. I just don't see DI has capabilities to have two seperare assembly line for KAAN and IF-21.

In Indodefence Republikorp already signed agreement on licensing production of Atmaca and Cakir SSM. Seems they are strenghthening the licensing agreement with Roketsan with Hisar Medium range SAM and Sungur Shorad. It will be done om stages with Cakir SSM being first.

In sense it is good that more private companies in Indonesia got chances to become MIC, however MIC it self is highly capitalise industry and need lot of defense contract support. Something that make State Owned MIC become the choices. Don't know how far this Republikorp will retain capital support on their development stages.

Not only lacks IPTN the capabilities to build/assemble both the KF-21 and KAAN, besides the N219, NC212 and CN235, but Indonesia also doesn't have budget to order 2 x 48 4,5/5th generation fighters besides other procurement programs.

All those announcements of plans/promises and attempts of holding meetings and negotiations are in my opinion just empty promises and theater.

That is a lot of new licence production programs for such a young company.

Yes - the yellow band is the indicator ... at least that's how I remember it from the modeling days ..... :)

The bigger question is - why load a live round for a parade flight?
Is there a possibility that that aircraft had a double role/task during the day? Maybe besides the demonstration flight, it also had to protect the airspace against incoming aircrafts larger than UAVs

AIM-9P looks like a live round ..... or is it? Yellow band, complete rear fins etc
If not mistaken, that particular Hawk 200 just arrive that day to Halim AB from it's home base at Supadio AB. Perhaps they are also doing their patrol rooster at that time also.

Yes, that's why either IF-21 or KAAN. There is assembly facillity being prepared for IF-21 as part of KFX/IFX program. However it is not fully invested as plan yet. Nonetheles if DI going to get involve on Final assembly of either types, it will be on that facility, but only one line assembly can be conducted.

Just like Submarine facility with PAL, being build for DSME 1400, but now going to be use for Scorene NG. The facility in DI that being build for IFX, more and more seems will be use for other type. So future fleet for TNI-AU can still be only two-three types as present. Rafale, LCA (could be FA-50) and either IF-21 or KAAN. Question is, whether politically a US type still needed to be inserted. IF-21 or KAAN future in TNI-AU in my opinion depends on that.

If only between KF/IF-21 vs KAAN, my money put on KAAN as more likely candidate. Rafale additional batch has more future then potential F-15EX as seems the direction shown. Which is better for budget reality. ROK seems see that also, as they are now actively looking for new partner either UAE or Poland.
