Ok, I believe you really didn't know what this warship is. This one is the first one of CANADA NAVY Iroquois Class DDH280. The Sea Sparrow launch setter is very special to be worth to research.

I believe the picture link in the OP's first post is of an old French destroyer built during the 1950s. I maybe wrong, but these destroyers were replaced during the 1980s with the current Georges Leygues class. I don't believe these 1950s destroyers had any anti-air missiles.

I agree with Sea Toby, the photo posted in the first post shows the last Destroyer of the "Escorteur d'escadre" serie, "La Galissoniere".
Actually the ship was used to carry experimentation of weapon and propulsion systems at sea. It is no longer in service.
For those seeking some good photos of the "Georges Leygues" class, try world navy info (in Russian!).
Got some too uploaded to the image database.

Now remaining the La Galissonniere photos, I need more high solution photos of this ship. And that structure of Sea Sparrow launch setter.

I don't really understand your wishes.... you want pictures of "Georges Leygues" AND "La Galissonière"? You'll find pictures of the T56 class sole ship in the same link, click bâtiments désarmés, then click La Galissonière, then click photos:rolleyes:

BUT WHY DO YOU WANT PHOTOS OF SEA SPARROW LAUNCHER?
The T56 "La Galissonière" destroyers NEVER had such a weapon! She was fitted with malafon ASW, 2x 100 mm Mle 53 creusot loire guns, 533 mm torpedoes, 1 Alouette III ASW helo, and DUBV23/DUBV43 sonars....
NEVER had been fitted with AAW missiles... NONE of Marine Nationale's ships had ever been fitted with Sea Sparrow launcher... In France, AA weapons missiles are Crotale, Masurca, SM1MR, Aster, Mistral, not Sea Sparrow!
X:confused:

To be thankful for your Georges Leygues photos firstly.

Factually, I want to see structural anatomy of the SeaSparrow launcher on Iroquois Class before it refitted.

I need aerial view photo of La Galisonniere because I want to see the hanger dawn to be parking apron.

The webs above you guys given no show pix to conform my request.
to be regretful.....

The old sea sparrow launcher on the Iroquois class of Canada, is basically the box in front of the bridge currently with the 76-mm gun atop it. The box or magazine above the forecastle deck had 8 cells and held 32 sea sparrow missiles. When the ships were refitted, the 3 inch gun was mounted on this magazine/launcher box wtih its magazine replacing the old sea sparrow magazine.

That is the best I can do. Its gonna be next to impossible to find an old picture, but I would try www.hazegray.org

As for the old French destroyer, the hangar is shown in your picture, the deck to port is the helicopter deck. The hangar is starboard, with the door on the port side of the hangar, not forward or aft. She was the only one converted. Obviously a very poor arrangement.

This information is from an old Conway Fighting Ships book from 1988. Same source for the Canadian destroyer.
The pictures in this book don't provide a much better view. And I doubt whether this book is currently being published.

The first French destroyers with an aft door is the Tourville class.
