there are 6wd versions of bushmaster being developed as "mothers". nothing out of LWC but there have been some thoughts that the reg vehciles could be supacats or pinzgauers

I was surprised by the withdrawl of landrover in Project overlander, the SAS praise the heavens for the mod 6X6.
would they get the final say in what they want? or is left to some Canberra based officer?
Is the Bushmaster "mother" their Ute version thats being looked at, based on US Special forces mothership?

nope, nothing like it. mother has been based on unimogs in the past - they act like a mobile warehouse etc....

Just wondering if the WA built OKA was considered for this or part of the Overlander Project? I know a few have served in the ADF, maybe AD or Old Faithful have come across them.
Cheers

OKA,s are a logistical nightmare! Parts come from all over the globe, includeing Russia,Germany,Japan and some are bodgyed here.I dont know of any military use for them, but several tour companys in Darwin use them....to their own peril!
