Well that's true that both airbases are connected by land, we will see if the also get an own fighter squadron.
Maybe already shared before, but the first A400M for Indonesia will arrive begin next month in Indonesia. The prediction/planning is set on 3 November, according to this Twitter post.

On the matter of J-10, Defense Minister say in ASEAN Defense Forum at Kuala Lumpur, that the decision is not final yet. Indonesia according to him still looking for the most efficient assets with no string attach and most affordable.
The last sentences is in my opinion underlying why the J-10 become consideration. Affordability and no string attach. After procuring expensive fighters like Rafale, they can not afford to goes as big as that with what available on budget. For that the media call USD 9 bio as budget for J-10 clearly missleading. The USD 9.0 bio is additional financing allotment that MoF agree to be use for defense procurement. Increasing from USD 25 Bio to USD 34 Bio throughout 2025-2029 term.
The financing allotment that's rumoured for interim assets is USD 3+ bio. Thus if J-10B/C consider as interim second hand assets, the financing allotment only being consider on that ballpark value. Whether it is going to be 1 sq, 2 sq or 42 fighters is what I suspect still being 'bargain' with.

Being photo from Seville in ferry flight with stopover in Dubai to Jakarta. Rumours talk on Indonesia exercising the option for 4 more A400M. If this is true there will be only one Stopover in this Ferry flight in Dubai, this is also shown the ferry range for A400M quite impressive.
Correction Edit:
Seville - Dubai is 3800+Miles (5800+Km) and Dubai-Jakarta is 4500+Miles (6600+Km). So seems Dubai-Jakarta Direct bit outside A400M ferry range. Just check turn out another stop in Kualanamu Medan (at North Sumatra). The stop being choose as the distance between Dubai to Kualanamu only just bit longer then Seville to Dubai.

After the transit in Dubai, it seemed A-4001 also made a short stop in Medan.
Update, it just left Medan at 5:30 WIB.

This is from Airbus site, I put it here as it also add option of fire fighthing kit that Indonesia interest. This perhaps one explanation why Indonesia so far has not exercising CL-415 contract yet. From here rumours of talk that Indonesia has with Airbus on exercising 4pcs option also getting louder.

This Linked in from Aero Terra executive told the company (part of Republikorp holding) still workout with companies under Defend ID (SOE MIC holding) in National ASM. I don't know if the missile still base on reverse engineering Chinese C-705, or since Republikorp already involve it will be base on Turkiye design.
Republikorp already sign agreement with Roketsan to build JV Roketsan Indonesia that plan to license build/assembly Cakir and Atmaca ASM and Sungur SHORAD and Hisar Medium Range SAM. So what this National ASM still going to be still not clear. However seems it is still being pursue.

Seems this Link ID will be develop to augment gateways that being build by Skytalys. Publicly the Link ID already connect multiple CMS on TNI AL ships. Not clear yet when they do trials on aerial and land platforms, or even multiple platforms for different environment.

Circulating online originate from photographer instagram and FB. The 2nd and 3rd TNI-AU Rafale, and all double seat. Rumours that the 1st batch of 6 (will be send to Indonesia as 2 flight of 3 next year) will be double seat version. As it is going to be use as conversion trainers.
Talk on more Rafale after 42 still circulating. The talk that increasing is 18 to make it 60. However to make it affordable, then the other fighters must be J-10. Then again Prabowo also give commitment for KF-21.

Trial of BT-250 domestic build unguided bomb, which basically equivalent to Mk-81. Thus with this Sari Bahari as body manufacturer already have two type of unguided bomb in operational Inventory. Mk-81 base BNT-250, and FAB-250 base P-250.
BNT-250 compatible with F-16, FA-50 and Hawk 209. While P-250 compatible with Sukhoi.
Shown how even the domestic industry already preparing Western Base and Non Western base design to work out.

Sorry, but the BNT-250 is in the same class as Mk.82, not Mk.81. The "250" in the name has the meaning as the "250" in P-250, kilograms, not pounds.

With this at least two varriance for N219 has already find market. The General Cargo-Passanger type for TNI-AD/Army and Maritime Survailence MSA type for Bakamla/Coast Guard. Not clear yet the sensors being choose by Bakamla

Nice photo circulate on TNI-AU Vampire by Keris FB, dated 1955. Seems still in factory ground on trials. It is paired with Iraq ones. Vampire is TNI-AU first jet.

First flight schedulle next month. They will be station at Pekanbaru AB, replacing Hawk 209/109 sq there. The Hawk will be move to Pontianak AB, group together with existing Hawk other sq. Later on the F-16 in Pekanbaru also going to move to Madiun AB, group together with the other 2 squadrons of F-16.
Shown logistics strategy of TNI-AU for each type will be center to each type home squadron.

MinDef talk in Media that the aim is to mordernise all 20 C-130H in the fleet. Thus the contract for 9 C-130H upgrade by GMF Aero is part of first batch. To get to 20 C-130H upgrade, both GMF Aero and DI will be part of MRO upgrade program.
The upgrade will be same, change Center Wing Box, Structural Strenghtening, and Aviation upgrade from Analog to Digital. This means both all TNI-AU C-130H from 80's procurement and ex RAAF C-130H, will have the upgrade.

Three types of TNI-AU Lead In Fighter Trainers in 50's and 60's. All Three being acquired in less then a decade. Represent the fast changes of geopolitics and technology on that era.
The first jet trainer was Dehaviland Vampire that being acquire in 55. This jet important as being the plane that trained TNI-AU on operating jet era. Changes on Indonesia geopolitic stance, and introduction of more numerous Mig 15 UTI, make all 8 Vampire being sold to India by 63. In fact the only Vampire on display at TNI-AU museum is ex RNZAF museum bartered for another TNI-AU museum collection.
Second one Mig 15 UTI not only being more numerous but also don't serve long enough as TNI-AU trainer. Sources in TNI-AU shown they are not satisfied with the operational performance, and soon looking for replacement.
Third one L29 Deflin was also first trainer that being procure with tropicalised version. TNI-AU quite satisfied and use it well in to Soeharto era before being replace by Hawk Mk53.

Pesawat NC212i Made in Bandung buat TNI AU Dikirim ke Malang
PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) menunjukkan progres dalam pemenuhan kontrak 9 unit pesawat NC212i dengan Kementerian Pertahanan (Kemhan) untuk end user TNI AU.

7th from 9 NC212i for TNI-AU current batch contract, has been delivered. This plane being configured as Navigational trainer, thus have facility to train navigators and mission specialist crew. Previous 6 being configured as multipurpose cargo.
