I was just pointing out that the only times I've seen SAS members not in combat fatigues was when they were wearing suits during CPP. I know them wearing the suits and other clothes so they blend into public settings is completely different to them wearing some of their own clothes on a mission.

nope, the term "suit" is a euphemism for a civilian employee - it has no relationship to uniforms on the job in non standard attire.

So you're saying that when a Special Forces soldier is wearing a "Suit" on the job...it's not a "Suit".

Please note that this forum is not an alternative to proper research for your book - special forces is a closed community and the military community is usually tight lipped about their role.
