FYI a TIA-129 is currently in South Africa.
What crap is this about not allowed to post links?!?!?
This site keeps telling me I'm not allowed to post links. What is TIA-129?
Do you mean T-129 is undergoing testing in South Africa? If so, can you give more information, perhaps provide some links?
PM would be great. I've joined the SA forum, awaiting for approval to post to join discussion. This site keeps telling me I'm not allowed to post links.
If you are "qualified" to post links maybe I can PM it to you?
There is a discussion on a SA forum about this but so far the participants (which include myself) have not been able to dig out the purpose of the visit.
So far the speculation includes hot & high testing or they are taking a look at pimping it out with items from ATE's line of accessories for attack helicopters.
(Sorry TAI-129 is a typo - I meant it to be TAI/AW-129)
That 'crap' stops anyone creating an account and immediately posting advertising spam. What crap is this about not allowed to post links?!?!?
I'd like to suggest that the "error message" be edited to explain this - and also tell how much activity (number of valid posts?) is required to lift the restriction. The current message is really "unfriendly".That 'crap' stops anyone creating an account and immediately posting advertising spam.
You actually have to stick around and make a few posts before being allowed to post a link.
Actually makes sense once you stop and thunk about it.

Actually, they are quite different choppers.Turkish T-129 same look like European Tiger Attack Helicopter. I think used same technology.
T129 is a Turkish variant of the Italian Agusta AW129 Mangusta. It has no connection to the Tiger.Turkish T-129 same look like European Tiger Attack Helicopter. I think used same technology.
Turkey has buy anything of the A129 and can sell it to other Countries as T-129 ,they only look like the same, but the technology is not the same !What percentage of the helicopter will be made in Turkey ?
