Does Egypt seeking Russian fighters? as USA won't deliver F-15 to Egypt by any way
so Egypt may look forward to Russian fighters like su-35 ?and may be also mig 29 m2??
also does Egypt capable of buying them??
can these fighters stand against Israel's Air forces??
i mean as machines not as pilots i don't doubt how the Egyptian pilots professional are but i don't trust the machine they may use

The word is that Egypt is looking at getting ToT and production rights to JF-17, but no deal has been concluded as of now. I certainly do think they are looking for more of the Chinese option if the engine situation can be sorted out. So, I'm guessing no Russian fighters right now.

well i have read articles in Arabic about deals bet. Egypt and Russia to supply us with Mig-29/M2 and some SU-35 but i don't think that Russia will give us SU-35
but may be Egypt buy MIG-29 M2 not SMT as the egyptian fighters didn't like it
well i think also if Egypt can make a deal with Russia instead of China for assembling Mig's in Egypt will be more efficient as Russia may stop supplying China with engines

The EAF will have to start looking for a Phantom replacement in the coming years.
As for how Egyptian pilots measure up to the Israelis, I think its more a question of training rather than the actual platform flown. It really depends on several factors - how many hours do Egyptian pilots fly annually and how realistic and challenging is their training? Does the Egyptian airforce have an ACMI system and can it simulate SAM launchings and jamming and during exercises? A major advantage Israel has over all her neighbours is the level of training her pilots receive and their operational experience.
In 'Arabs At War' by Ken Pollack, there is a very interesting section on the EAF.

Russia would sell the Su-35S to pretty much anyone who asks for it, including Egypt.

I have seen no credible sources that would suggest that Egypt might be contemplating a purchase of MiG-29 or other Russian fighters. Egypt has not made a major weapons purchase from the Russians since the 1970s and I would not expect that to change now.

Egypt has spent much of the last year finalizing the details surrounding its purchase of an additional 20 Block 52+ F-16s from the United States, including contracts for the electronic warfare suite and the engines.

There has also been talk about a possible purchase of JF-17 fighters from China and Pakistan, although the issue of who would supply the engines would still need to be resolved.

Egypt has purchases warplanes from China in the past, and I would expect to see this relationship continue in the coming decade. An Egyptian purchase of new MiG's from Russia, however, is just not in the cards.

There was a minor contract for upgrading the Soviet-era Kub SAMs. But otherwise you're right.
