Ah...someone with the title "defence analyst"(or something similar, i dont remember exactly) here said that they can counter the RPG-30, but i still wanted to ask to hear from others and if some knows he can response and thanks for your answer.I don't think there is an answer. We don't have the specs of the system. And we don't have the specs of the RPG-30 (I don't mean the stuff from advertising brochures, I meant real test data on these systems). I think the answer is something along the lines of "it depends on the situation".
Newer western types of counter measure devices can be adjusted to not counter the smaller warhead if warranted, with nothing fined tuned just yet by western manufactures of such hard kill systems you can bet RPG 30 type weapons have already been factored in to the equation. Russia knows this also and most likely is banking on the RPG 30 being a newer reactive armor penetrator, smaller projectile could be used to penetrate or weaken secondary armor thus giving main tandem projectile better performance in penetration.Trophy and Iron Fist can deal with it?...from what I've understood is that the systems can determine if the warheads that are fired are a real threat or not(and the decoy is not), but im not sure in 100%. If someone can answer i will be very happy.
Ah...someone here said that systems like Iron Fist and Trophy can determine if its a real threat and if not ,these systems will not intercept it and also they can handle multiple attacks simultaneously.Newer western types of counter measure devices can be adjusted to not counter the smaller warhead if warranted, with nothing fined tuned just yet by western manufactures of such hard kill systems you can bet RPG 30 type weapons have already been factored in to the equation.
