Step aside F-15/16/18! Flankers finaly arrives in the US

We're pleased to announce the arrival of the first pair of privately-owned Sukhoi SU-27 Flankers in the USA. Needless to say, these aircraft are worlds apart from most jet warbirds -- in size, performance, technological sophistication, and "wow-factor."

Pride Aircraft was picked to import, modify, assemble and certify these aircraft for their new owners.

Exciting news indeed:)

What do you make of this?

Thanks

well, there's been a persistent rumour that the USAF has had 2 x Su-27's in their Red Hat squadron since 1997. I interviewed ex Ukrainian and Russian Su-27 AME's who ended up getting jobs with BAE in the US.

So, I know of at least 2 "american" AME's who can service them. :)

The alternative to business as usual

Edit: I can't wait to read any articles from these gents!
They all seems to have a lot of hours in F-15 and a lot of expirience:)

In that vicinity, yes. They'll be used in a multitude of roles, mostly government contract work
