Where there is need, one finds a way out. India will indeed be considered with brevity on the world arena. However, it depends on the situation, whether she becomes a maritime power, like Great Britain was, or like The United States currently is. Great Britain does not have the biggest or best navy, like she once had, because she does not require it. Because the United States is such a great maritime power, she is criticized if people feel she has been high handed, which is always. If I were the United States, I would feel that I have bitten off more than I can chew, because of my great maritime prowess. I am more responsible, than is my due, or I want to be. I would rather, India be a great place to learn about ourselves and our environment better, in a benign manner. If the world does not need any navy, and then India is mentioned in foremost admiration, then that will be the crowning glory bestowed on any nation. Armed forces should exist, but they should never be needed. I am proud of the great heritage of the Indian Armed Forces. Also, if there is peace, and if the Armed Forces are so inclined, then there is no better environment to train better the armed forces.
