I have noticed many posts on other treads dealing with port visits. After learning about this Peruvian Navy cruise, I got an idea to start this new tread.
Peruvian Navy Training Ship Arrives in Busan
The Peruvian Navy training ship Mollendo arrived in Busan Thursday for a four-day stay, after anchoring in Papeete in France, Hong Kong and Shanghai in China.
The visit is part of the Cruise of Instruction, organized by the Peruvian Navy under its naval cadets�� formative curricular structure.
The ship will exhibit to the general public on Saturday such products as pisco, wine, crafts, textiles, marmol, coffee and processed fish products, according to the Peruvian Embassy in Seoul.
This year, in addition to cadets of the Naval Academy of Peru, members of other military institutions of Peru and other countries �� Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Korea, Bolivia, Brazil and Eduador �� and students of Peru��s Diplomatic Academy have been invited to participate in the cruise, the embassy said in a press release.
After weighing anchor on March 2, the Mollendo will continue its trip to Vladivostok in Russia, Tokyo-Harumi in Japan, Hawaii, Seattle and San Diego in the United States before returning to Peru on April 25.
