for the malaysian royal navy there are gotta get the new mm-40 exocet block 3 that can go about ~180 km

for the air force malaysia will be getting russian made kh-41,kh-61,kh-35 n kh-59

but malaysian armed forces stated that the only reason malaysia is buying this item is only because of the pupose of defending itself not for attacking!

Hi, you got any current news source that Malaysia has definitely decided to buy the BrahMos MRCM? I can't find anything new about it.

Let`s be serious here. Many countries have `talked' about getting a variety of systems. Even the Indons have talked about the possibility of getting the Bhramos, etc. Is there any clear announcement for these two weapons ? That would mean a planned purchase. Can you show us? Otherwise they are just comments.

as of now ,chile,malaysia and indonesia have expressed a firm interest in acquiring this missile,however no firm decision has been taken as of yet on the export of this missile to any of this countries.

there are two reasons for this:

1)india and russia have not yet prepared a list of friendly countries to which these missiles can be sold ,also russia needs to modify its internal laws to acquire a missile system developed as a joint venture for its armed force.

2)the production capacity of brahmos corporation as of now is adeqate to meet indian and russian requirements,the production capacity can be increased once orders are acquired ,also as of now the brahmos corporation is currently busy with development of the air launched and submarine launched versions of the brahmos missiles.
