WWII - AIRBORNE OPERATIONS A German Appraisal

Pray tell, what does the Atlantic U-boat campaign, the Ploesti raid, the sinking of the Bismarck etc have anything to do with German paratrooper (fallschirmjager), British Red Devils or the US 101st Airborne operations? Shouldn't it be rather about the battle of Crete, Operation Market Garden etc that should be the focus?

That's exactly what Hitler said! Okay I'm just kidding... I for one got caught up in the post. The original post was actually about the Germans assessment of airborne operations and not about any particular battle. If you'd like to refocus the discussion in any particular direction I'm all eyes.
