Which is exactly what is happening to the Dutch Navy (down to 2 Doorman to fund SM-2 IV, TLAM, and 4 OPVs)

2 Doormans with SM-2 and TLAMs? I thought these weapon systems are on the 4 De Zeven Provincien class FFGs. Doormans have neither AN/SPY or a Mk41 VLS for such weapons.

Actually what I meant was that the Dutch Navy is ready to go down to 2 Doorman FFGs (ie sell 2 of the remaining 4) in order to equip the 4 De Zeven Provincien with SM-2 IV and TLAMs.
