Yeah i know.
But i think that included the 04,05 too..
The article was unclear.
If not we'll see two more delivered in the next month or so.

To me it makes more sense to deliver those aircraft in batches like 4-6 aircraft.
I think NAPO has a better output rate these days, but anyway it remains to see.

6 aircraft per year is a better output rate. But anyways.

I'd say KnAAPO has its hands full at the moments and in the near future too.
My quess is this is bad media coverage..

Over at paralays, there is a member whom works at NAPO.
He state that their asembly lines can put out 12 Su-34 with engines installed in one year.
But sinse hey have problems with sub-contractors delivering radar and other avionics systems, NAPO is forced to follow the output rate from what they can actually deliver to the VVS.
Also just having multiple bomber in semi funtional state beeing shutled back and fourth and taking up space as more parts are delayed.. will do no good.

Well the numbers include the already delivered 12 Su-27SM new-builds, the 5 Su-30M2 trainers, the 32 Su-34, and 48 Su-35S. 100 is exaggerated, but only a little. (12+5+32+48=97)

Of course if the "100 aircraft" include helos, its a different picture.
And more realistic as well.

ah yes my bad..
When did the contract change to 5 Su-30M2?

And what does the order books contain regarding choppers, forward to 2015 ?

Your link. I always thought it was 4 Su-30M2. Anyways, this hardly matters. The total is still 96/97. Pretty close to 100. Of course out of these 100 ~22 have already been delivered.

They are indeed. First deliveries are supposed to happen before the end of this year.

Come to think about it, it looks like KNAAPO will be able to deliver a whole batch to Lipetsk training center this year.

They better be able to. KnAAPO is a very capable production facility. Delivery rates will depend more on financing then production.

because to keep it open while the f35 threads here have no conclusive positive press about them would make the problematic f35 programme look bad...up stage it if u will...so that leads me to believe the closeur of the pak-fa russias fifth generation fighter thread may be due to a certain aerospace concerns tentacles breaching and compromising the integrity of this website.

edit...i sincerely hope not because this website does have a role in bringing greater public awareness to defence related matters.

LOL that is a funny way to look at it.

Anyways, there has been very less to nill news on the PAK FA development programme lately. I've been trying to find any news on its canopy redesign and its engine nozzle redesign if any in vain. AFAIK the canopy will be a 1 piece frameless design but why is it taking the russians so long to come out with it when the chinese already have them on their J 20? Also it is believed that the final production model MAY sport a more stealthy nozzle and not a conventional 1, so I've been trying to find out if this is true. Any news on this guys?

Hi nevidimka.
Do note that in the configuration of the existing canopy.
It can withstand much more beating from the elements, possible higher top speed or at least higher endurance in top speed.
And can eject at a higher speed than a one pice canopy where to HUD display have to shield the pilot..

But it remain to be seen, doesn't have to be one on the next prototype eighter.

The very latest Su-34.
With a new APU for increased power supply.
Possible new software upgrade too, for additional weapons.

Any word from SALUT new AL-31FM2 engine upgrade?

You've heard something on the software upgrade? For what additional weapons? To the best of my knowledge the VVS hasn't received serial produced new munitions in ages.
