Well PAF I'm assuming that they all be replaced by JF-17s but it will take a long time that's for sure
JF-17. we gonna fly them. for each JF-17 one or 2 Mirage retire with one or two F-7.VICTORA1 said:Guy,
If you retire these planes, then what else are you going to fly. This is all we have.
Rafale??How many of them can u purchase?According to PAF's current budjet,it can afford only about 10.One rafale costs nearly 80 million$P.A.F said:we don't want to be losing numbers sabre. thats the last think PAF wants. we need quality and now QUANTITY if we are to face an enemy 3 times our size. so if we retire these mirages so early which we are not now because of the french upgrade then we need 60+ f-16, rafale or gripen
The cost of maintainance is also high, first u buy some thing expensive than u spent more on it to keep it running. Total Rip off. Thats y no country is willing to buy them except for France it self & they r also buying according to their needs. They r not going for Surplus.adsH said:rafael are out of the Question, there is no buyer's credit, and Pakistan cannot fund the purchase out of there pockets, Loan providers charge too much interest, thats the reason why the US is one of the most successful Arms supplier, they subsidize there Arms sale to there allies, and they provide Credit options.
