Yep, firing off 4x live rounds in a single exercise, in addition to the land strike exercise RAN did from a Hobart Class AWD a few years back, points to a “yippee shoot” situation where old stock is being fired off for the training benefit and “perhaps” to make room for the newer generation missiles…
I also wonder if there was any cost-recovery from the NZDF or we provided these in the “spirit of ANZAC Co-Operation”?
