British reconnaisance jets operating from Aviano report "unusually intense" activity in the military base of Vranje. Four Russian IL-76 aircrafts are spotted being towed down the tarmac.
A Belgian F-16C jet is shot over the boundary bordering Croatia and Serbia, near the town of Vukovar. Military analysts at the NATO headquarters at Naples conclude that Serbian forces used the latest S-400 SAM system. Russia is blamed for covertly supplying high-tech weapons to Serbia-the suspicious presence of Russian IL-76 transport aircrafts is pointed out.
NATO dispatches a naval flotilla to the Adriatic sea lead by the flagship French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle. Supporting it are two British Type 45 destroyers, an Italian Durand class destroyer and two Minerva class corvettes, and two Spanish F100 frigates.
Russia is warned to stop aiding the Serbs and pull out all covert military personnel and equipment immediately, or face the consequences.

Meanwhile... struggling to restrain some very smug grins, the Germans secretly send envoys to most of the ex-members of the Soviet Union (except for Russian and Beleruss) offering to organize an alliance that will protect them from re-abosrbtion, and a shield from Putin's threats. Overtures will also be made to Poland, and recon flights will have a quick look at Kaliningrad.

-The Government of Serbia denounces any wrong doing in the downed Belgian F-16C. We denounce any Russian prescence in Vranje or any of our military bases. The IL-76 are mere supply shipments to our base which was low in supplies due to a broken down AN-24 that was to deliver supplies.-
+A couple of detachments from the 250th ADM Brigade are stratigcally placed in key areas.

Just an observation:
After all the moves and threats issued, no power in the game has yet had the courage to take its opponent head-on. Aaah!! the power of deterrence...just how an actual conflict would have evolved in reality. World powers realize very well that hell would break loose if they make war. So, chances of WWIII ever happening is slim indeed.

The Greek government continuing the good relations with the Serbian people and since it is re-organising the air-defence grants for free to Serbia their S-300 SAM systems.The governement also decided to offer a 300mil euros aid to Serbia.Moreover the minister of Defence will visit his counterpart to discuss about possibilities of bringing the two armies in a more closed cooperation.
