Littoral Combat Ship Mk 110 57mm gun for naval fire support?

Would a MSSGP in a 155mm sabot be compatible with the AGS?
If so, it would appear to offer a less costly alternative to LRLAP as the former is projected to supply a number of land and naval cannon system whereas LRLAP will be limited to 3 X DDG-1000.

The Independence class reportantly can't take anything larger than the 57mm gun because there is no room for the magazine underneath (e.g. 76mm)due to the narrow bow.

There is a "module" behind it so you could always put something there.
