Iran...

Iran really has the technology to send stuff into space?

Hmmm it smells like Russia is helping them, just like the cold war. Russia getting stronger and helping those countries that don't like US.

More like Russia is helping anyone with the money. A RoK rocket launch recently featured the first stage of the Russian Angara project integrated into it.

Both of you are getting off topic.

The central issue isn't World War II, Palestine, or anything in that vein, it's the issue of Iran's claim to have launched a satellite and the implications and value (if any) of this event. Making judgements about who's to blame for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict really doesn't add much to the satellite discussion.

The Iranian satellite launch is an important event, but I highly doubt it's going to start a war or lead to a retaliatory strike.
