The French deployment arrived in Jakarta for the Indonesian leg of France’s PEGASE 2026 mission on 20 September 2026, with activities scheduled through 25 September. And now Indonesia and France are conducting joint air force training with Rafales and A400Ms.

TNI-AU Chief claim that A330 MRTT is a definite plan and only waiting for execution. In senss A330 MRTT is 'must' have assets, not only for cargo, tanker, but also command plane. The last one means can be configure for VIP + Communication.

That's why Frenchie salesman in his channel talk about A330 MRTT VIP configuration. Clearly as part of Frenchie sales team, he knows what Airbus team lobby. Like I said before, don't underestimate Airbus Lobby for Indonesian market. Now let's see how the other brokerage try to counter for IL-78MK-90A.

This reminder as old X account from MinDef, say that A330 MRTT is already part of Airbus product that already in effective contract. Perhaps this is why TNI-AU Deputy Chief willing to say in media for imminent entry of MRTT. Alltough it is now seems other sales team still work hard for IL-78. Airbus team now seems regain momentum.

If i am not wrong, this is the first prototype aircraft. Maybe the first batches of the production line will have the original design, and with winglets the next batches.
