The Tiger is a medium-weight (category 6 tons) of which the weapon system is designed for operations of the day or night in all environments, including environments contaminated by NBC (nuclear contamination, bacteriological, chemical). It is equipped with two engines, a cockpit tandem (with the pilot in front), color LCD multifunction displays and a look Periscope with an infrared camera IRCCD second-generation and a TV channel. The detectability of the helicopter system has been reduced to a minimum in order to reach a maximum capacity of survival on the battlefield. Not only the detectability by infrared or radar has been kept to a minimum, but the electronic (radar, laser, missile launch warnings) as well as detection systems and purchasing function without compromising emission targets. In addition, the integrated logistic system allows a drastic reduction of maintenance per flight hour, and keep the cost of life cycle. There are 4 versions: ARH (Armed Reconnaissance Helicopter) Tiger UHT (Germany), the Tiger HAP (France) and the Tiger HAD (Spain and France). HAP version is designed for armed reconnaissance and fire support. The weaponry and fire control systems have an unprecedented level of accuracy and lethality. It is fitted with a turret gun with a 30 mm rocket submunition 68 mm air-to-air missiles and Mistral. The HAD version (Destruction and Attaque d'Hélicoptère, attack helicopter and destruction) of the Tiger, which was launched in December 2004 and is based on the HAP variant, is being developed to Spain and France. The HAD version combines the capabilities of multipurpose fighter / support of the HAP version with the ability to attack ground-air missiles of the UHT version. France has acquired 40 of its 80 Tigers in the HAD version (delivery in 2009) and Spain will have 24 helicopters version of HAD (delivery in 2008) to be part of the community of Tigre.

Mod edit: This does indeed look like a summary of the Tiger (or Tigre) helicopter which people can easily look up. However, as Feanor mentioned, what are your thoughts or questions on the helicopter?
