considering the only other real idea presented has been blockade or bomb the shit out of the place thats a pretty good idea actually. just for shits and giggles though. what if the island rebels had the bomb? Atomic, nuclear, or hydrogen, maybe even a MOAB i dunno. what if.....

Well, Again what is the mercinares aims of this attack, find that out foil that, Make a air/sea blockade like y'all said then with help of NATO (which will no doubt help the Canadians) send in any allied paras/commandos to destory the chain of command, Destory water, power, supply depots, and normal sabotage slowly destory the defences, and send in the CALVARY! AND then ...........................................................................................................
