On July 16th the second brand new Agusta westland AW101 Merlin helicopter for the Polish Navy was delivered to the armed forces of Poland. At Rotterdam airport it made quick fuelstop before it flew to Poland. It was already in his full liverey for his new job. Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA)115 depart from Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan. VMFA-115 is set to return to their home air station of MCAS Beaufort, South Carolina, following their six-month unit deployment program (UDP) tour with Marine Aircraft Group 12. For over forty years, the F/A-18 augmented U.S. Armed Forces and this tour marked VMFA-115’s final UDP tour as an F/A-18 squadron.
