Another program in Russia for Turboprop as replacement for AN24/26 class of Turboprop Airliners. Seems bit smaller then IL-114 which is more on ATR classes. So I believe it could supplement IL-114 instead as rival to it.

They are already assembling the first prototype, but this is the first time i heard about this TVRS-44 program, indeed in the same class as ATR42 and N245.
Many aircraft development programs in Russia ending up in the prototype stage (like in a certain country in South-East Asia), so i wonder if they can finish this one.

This time an aviation disaster in the US..... its remarkable that so many accidents happen in such a short time.
So a American Airlines regional jet collided with a UH-60 near Reagan National Airport, Washington DC.

It seems to be a Blackhawk of the army.

Washington DC plane crash: Jet with 60 passengers collides with US Army helicopter and crashes into river

Update
|" Het passagiersvliegtuig is een Bombardier CRJ700-toestel van PSA Airlines, een regionale luchtvaartmaatschappij die onderdeel is van American Airlines. "|
So the aircraft is a Bombardier CRJ-700 with 64 passengers on board and 4 crewmembers, with 3 persons on board the Sikorsky UH-60.
Vliegtuig en legerhelikopter botsen en crashen in Washington, vrees voor tientallen doden

ATC will get rough days ahead on this. Especially under present administration pressure to make government and public agencies accountable.

Now there're talks the Army Blackhawk is flying dark and not emitting ADS-B signals. This is going to get heavier later on.

By coincidence i found this video.
The visual effects are not that great, but it is a funny video. So with Turkish Airlines it is possible to take your pet into the cabin, after checking in at a special pet check-in counter.
The only animals permitted to travel in the cabin are cats, dogs and small songbirds (budgies, canaries).
The weight of the pet with its crate should not exceed 8 kg. Crate sizes should not exceed 23 cm height, 30 cm width and 40 cm length. Your pets can only be transported in specially designed soft-sided cages/bags.

This is the first time i see that pets can travel in the cabin, but is Turkish Airlines really the first airline to do this?

During this Alaska Airlines flight, a passenger suddenly became aggressive and attacked other passengers. In this video we see a steward punching the aggressive passenger in order to let him release a female passenger in the seat in front of him.

knuckle sandwich is the only answer or given room a size 10 between the legs. Seen it once on a flight from Bangkok to Singapore the young lady cabin crew handled very nicely, as the grumpy male started to get up from his seat she whacked him on the head with a full plastic bottle of soda, he sat down quickly dazed and the other cabin crew secured him in his seat.

I believe some Airlines in Asia like Korean and Singapore Airlines already equip their flight attendants with stun gun. Garuda unofficialy from what I heard from talking to their pilots already prepared that especially on their long haul International routes where they open alcoholic beverages. The idea that in domestic and regional ASEAN routes, it is short enough that they can reroute for passenger attitude emergency.

Stun Gun in my opinion is better alternative on confined space like in commercial plane.

I don't care with those humanity NGO call this endangering that particular unruly passenger. If there're passenger getting hostile, it is better options to other passenger and the flight attendants.

The latest information on the Delta crash in Toronto yesterday. Amazing outcome, no deaths, and 19 of the 21 admitted to hospital have been released. Note some passengers escaped with carry-on bags, the dummies should be charged.

An almost accident in the US.

An An-124 has crashed yesterday near Khartoum, 10 people were injured and 46 didn't survived the crash. The aircraft took of from Wadi Seidna Airbase, an airbase 22 km north if Khartoum.

The Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations ordered four Let L-410NG for its aviation branch, Kazaviaspas.

The Koninklijke Marechaussee will receive two Diamond DA62MPP into service. The two aircrafts are leased from QinetiQ GmbH.

Catalyst, the most modern turboprop engine on the market, gets FAA approval.
The Catalyst, made by Avio Aero - GE Aerospace Europe, is designed and produced completely in Europe, being completely sovereign (it is ITAR-free) it will be used on the Eurodrone MALE RPAS and in other civilian aircrafts.
Certification by EASA in ongoing too.
